Morgan Keating

Hi, my name is Morgan Keating! As a current senior at the University of Connecticut, I am pursuing a double major in Psychological Sciences and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences. I work for the UCONN Women's Center as a Violence Against Women Prevention Program(VAWPP) Peer Facilitator. I have been apart of VAWPP since my first year of UConn and I am proud to participate in our mission to create a world free of gender-based violence. I’m excited to bring my experience in this work into my career as a social worker.

Eduen Smith

Hi everyone! My name's Eduen (They/Them), and I am currently a senior with a major in English, and a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexualities Studies. I am a Student Administrative Assistant and VAWPP Facilitator. After working on more clerical and behind the scenes jobs at the Women's Center, I decided I wanted to take the information I was learning and help to further expand the mission of the center: educate, advocate, and provide support for the achievement of women’s equity.  As a VAWPP Facilitator, it is my goal to help students understand consent, and what a healthy relationship looks like. My role helps me develop professionally, and learn how to facilitate a classroom, which is conducive to my post-grad plans of being an English educator.
