UConn Women’s Center
The mission of the Women’s Center is to educate, advocate, and provide support services for the achievement of women’s equity at the university and within the community at large.

The Women’s Center uses education (i.e. programs focused on raising awareness on issues related to gender) as a way to enact social change and to address a climate that supports sexism and other forms of oppression.
The Women’s Center works to dismantle gender oppression through prevention and education.
