Student Staff
Staff Retreat Fall 2014

Each year the women’s center takes applications to fill a handful of student staff and volunteer positions with in the women’s center. The center values its student workers as key to its operations and a connection to the student body.

Why work for the Women’s Center?

“My work at the Women’s Center has taught me to be more thoughtful, patient, and intentional with my words and actions. Being a part of the Center has been the best part of my undergraduate career because of the community that I have. The Women’s Center has truly become my home at UConn.” Brittnie

“I applied to work at the Women’s Center the summer before I actually came in as a first year student. Little did I know my view on life would be transformed and I would find another part to my UConn family.”Jovonne
“Working for the Women’s Center has not only shaped what my experience at UConn has been, but what my experience in this lifetime will be. I am so much more aware of issues of inequity and I am committed and ecstatic to be working along such inspiring individuals for what I believe to be the most important work on the planet.”Avery
